Back in 1997, The Lord spoke to my heart with a verse in the book of Revelation. It says, "He who is righteous, let him be righteous still, he who is holy, let him be holy still" (Rev. 22: 11). I shared this in one of the meetings then, but people felt that I come from another planet. Not many people were shouting for holiness. But, now it is evident that God's last move will be a simple repentance move that will touch the whole world. Signs and wonders are wonderful, I love these things because it shows my Father's Power. It is also a tool to reach the world. But the essence is Holiness. In the last day, many Miracle-workers will be considered "evildoers". Lately, Gloria Copeland gave a seminar with the title, "Holiness, the final frontier". Many other faith preachers are also taking this new direction, HOLINESS.
Workers of the Last harvest need Holiness
Paul writes these wonderful words, "Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself... he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." (2 Tim. 2: 21). It is evident that you are the doer of the act. It says "if anyone cleanses himself". This is your responsibility. Ofcoarse the cleansing is in the blood of Christ, but it is your decision to do that. Today, you need to make a quality decision "I will cleanse myself". You need a heart that hungers and thirsts for righteousness. You can not take a spiritual nap and leave holiness work to God. Christians in these last days need to stay awake. you need to deal with everything that does not please God in your life and in your heart. You need to live a Holy (Separate, special, God-Owned and God-directed) life. It is your role in "operation righteousness".
The two sides of Righteous living:
Recently, I preached on righteousness in our Church. While preparing, God spoke to me in a wonderful way about this revelation. The Lord simply showed me that all Christians are righteous in their Spirit. The moment you recieve the second birth you become a new spirit, a new creation in your inner man. This new inner man is full of everything good. All the friut of the spirit are there. Love peace and joy... In your inside, you are full of all goodness. the problem is that the outside does not realise this many times. It is at this point that your role starts. This work is on the level of both the soul and the flesh.
The steps you can take to walk in righteousness are two:
1. Renew you mind with the word of God, so that your outer man will realize the truth about your inner man.
2. Mortify (daily) your flesh with all its works. Through this you can keep the old man on the cross until the coming back of Christ when HE will give you the glorified body, which is sin-free.
